I also love people with disabilities, especially those with developmental disabilities. I love the Church, and I wish to see her preach the Gospel to those with disabilities so that they may also be given faith and repentance, be forgiven of their sins, and shown their place at the table of God. (Luke 14:1-24)

Developmental Disability

The term “developmental disability” involves a mental or physical disability which arises before adulthood and usually lasts throughout life. Such examples include, but are not limited to: autism, Down syndrome, Asperger’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. Many states use different definitions for developmental disabilities based on the federal law.
