About Me

My photo
Julie
I am a Christian, sought after by God for His sake, kindly led to repentance, and forgiven of my sins by Christ's work on the cross. I also love people with disabilities, especially those with developmental disabilities. I love the Church, and I wish to see her preach the Gospel to those with disabilities so that they may also be given faith and repentance, be forgiven of their sins, and shown their place at the table of God. (Luke 14:1-24)

...'Hurry into the streets and narrow roads of the city and bring poor people here. Bring those whose bodies are diseased. Bring those who cannot walk and those who are blind.'

Developmental Disability

The term “developmental disability” involves a mental or physical disability which arises before adulthood and usually lasts throughout life. Such examples include, but are not limited to: autism, Down syndrome, Asperger’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. Many states use different definitions for developmental disabilities based on the federal law.

Is There Healing in Atonement?

Dr. Sam Storms of Enjoying God Ministries and pastor of Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City, OK addresses wisely this question in his essay, "Is There Healing in Atonement?"
